How to Join
Registration
1. Annual Registration with USA Rugby and USA Youth & High School Rugby:
Purpose: This step registers you with the national governing bodies and is mandatory for all participants, including players, coaches, administrators, volunteers, and referees.
- Process:
Enter "Rugby Oregon" as the club name (do not enter any other club name).
Follow the prompts to complete your registration.

2. Seasonal Registration with Rugby Oregon:
Purpose: This step is required for all Youth Flag, Youth Contact, and High School players to participate in seasonal activities.
- Process:
After completing the annual registration, proceed to the Rugby Oregon Registration Page at Match Facts.
Complete the seasonal registration form with the necessary details.

Important Notes:
Dual Registration: Both annual and seasonal registrations are mandatory. Players must register at both Match Facts (seasonal) and Rugby Xplorer (annual) to be fully registered.
Player Participation: Players must be fully registered before participating in any rugby activities.

- Refund Policy: Registrations are eligible for a full refund if requested within 7 days of registration and before competition begins. After 7 days, refunds are processed as follows:
No refund for USA Rugby & USA Youth & High School fees ($35 per competition year).
Prior to competition start, Rugby Oregon will refund all fees received.
After competition begins, a 10% refund is issued for each unplayed week, based on a 10-week season.
Eligibility requirements (age, grade level, etc.)
The Grackles, a girls' youth rugby team in Portland, align with Rugby Oregon's guidelines for player eligibility. Players must be under 19 years old as of September 1st preceding the competitive season. Additionally, players should be full-time students at the high school they represent.
